Franklin man arrested for cultivation of Marijuana

The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, consisting of St. Mary Sheriff Dept., Morgan City Police Dept., Patterson Police Department Franklin Police Dept., Baldwin Police Dept., Berwick Police Dept., and Chitimacha Police Dept., report the following arrests:

Channing Charpentier, age 23 of Big Bear Lane Franklin, La was arrested on 11-29-09 at 322pm on charges of Cultivation of Marijuana and Possession of paraphernalia at that location. This was after an investigation was conducted and upon contact with the suspect the plants were located and recovered. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for processing and incarceration.
