Franklin Daily Arrest Report

The Franklin Police Department responded to 20 complaints over the 24 hours and made the following arrests:

4/9/14 @ 1:40 PM, Ronald Vercher, 55, of Hwy. 317, Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Simple Burglary. Vercher was processed and released on a $10,000.00 bond.

The following arrests stem from a fight a that occurred on April 4, 2014 at Franklin Senior High School.

4/9/14 @ 1:51 PM, Dave McClarty III, 17, of Mechanic St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on a warrant charging him with Disturbing the Peace by Fighting. McClarty was processed and released on a $250.00 bond.

4/9/14 @ 2:41 PM, Shawn Francis Jr., 17, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on a warrant charging him with Disturbing the Peace by Fighting. Francis was processed and released on a $250.00 bond.

4/9/14 @ 4:43 PM, De'Jhon Parker, 17, of Gumpoint Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on a warrant charging him with Disturbing the Peace by Fighting. Parker was processed and released on a $250.00 bond.

The following arrests stem from officers responding to a complaint of two individuals fighting in the street in the area of Bud St. and Morris St.

4/9/14 @ 8:55 PM, Kimiya Joseph, 20, of Morris St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace by Fighting. Joseph was processed and released on a $250.00 bond.

4/9/14 @ 8:55 PM, Charity White, 26, of Thomas St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace by Fighting. White was processed and released on a $250.00 bond.

4/10/14 @ 1:12 AM, Delvin Darby, 21, of Robertson St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute (1st Offense) after a traffic stop was conducted by officers. Darby was processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

4/10/14 @ 1:42 AM, Troy Charles, 44, of Talbot St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for Failure to Appear on the charge of Criminal Neglect of Family. Charles was processed and held on a $12,622.37 bond.
