Franklin Daily Arrest Report

The Franklin Police Department responded to 12 complaints over the past 24 hour and made the following arrests:

2/6/14 @ 3:40 PM, David Burrell, Sr., 54, of St. Joseph Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on warrants for 16th Judicial District Court for Failure to Appear on Theft Over $500, Resisting an Officer, Simple Burglary, and Forgery of Checks (2 Counts). Burrell was processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

2/6/14 @ 1:37 PM, Ryan Carr, 22, of Labau St., Baldwin, LA, was arrested on a warrant held by the Franklin Police Department charging him with Stalking. Carr was also arrested on a Probation Violation. Carr was processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

The Franklin Police Department with the assistance of Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office and Nicholls State University Police Department arrested the following individual:

2/6/14 @ Jireh Grimm, 21, of Willow St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on warrants held by the Franklin Police Department charging him with Computer-Aided Solicitation of Minors for Sexual Purposes and Indecent Behavior with Juveniles. Grimm was also charged with Possession of Pornography involving Juveniles (2 Counts). Grimm was processed and released on a $95,000 bond.

The Franklin Police Department with the assistance of the Franklin's Marshall's Office arrested the following person on multiple warrants held by Baton Rouge City Court:
2/6/14 @ 5:46 PM, Brandon Butler, 30, of Canal Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on warrants Baton Rouge City Court charging him with Vehicle License Required, Improper Backing, No Driver's License on Person, No Proof of Insurance, Resisting an Officer, Possession of Marijuana, Resisting an Officer, Public Drinking, Possession of Marijuana, Trespassing, Possession of Marijuana, Disturbing the Peace by Offensive Words, Gambling in Public, Simple Assault, Illegal Use of 911 Emergency Communication, Public Drinking, Possession of Marijuana, Disturbing the Peace by Offensive Words, Disturbing the Peace by Offensive Words, Trespassing, Disturbing the Peace by Offensive Words, No Driver's License on Person, No Seat Belt, Restrictions on U-Turns, and No Driver's License on Person. Butler was processed and transported to Baton Rouge by the Franklin City Marshall's Office.
