The Franklin Police Department responded to 66 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrest:
11/8/13 @ 7:18 PM, Morris Thibeaux, 58, of Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace By Public Intoxication. Thibeaux was processed and held on a $250.00 bond.
11/8/13 @ 11:35 PM, Quentin Jackson, 22, of Hwy. 182, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana. Jackson was also arrested on a warrant for Jeanerette City Court for Failure To Appear for Arraignment. Jackson was processed and released on a $2000.00 bond to appear in Third Ward City Court.
11/9/13 @ 3:30 AM, Freddie Conley III, 45, of Martin Luther King Blvd., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace By Public Intoxication. Conley was processed and held on a $250.00 bond.
11/9/13 @ 10:24 PM, Cedric Kemp, 22, was arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for Failure To Appear on the charge of Possession Of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Kemp was processed and held on a $5000.00 bond.
11/10/13 @ 7:52 PM, Levert Phillips, 22, of Lee Charles, Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass and Possession of Marijuana. Phillips was processed and held on a $2500.00 bond.
11/10/13 @ 9:55 PM, Roger Clements, 55, of Two Sisters Court, Morgan City, LA, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (5th Offense) and Resisting an Officer By Refusing Booking. The arrest stems from a complaint to be on the lookout for a truck with an occupant that could barely stand. Contact was made with the vehicle and a strong odor of alcohol was smelled from the truck. Officers administered field sobriety tests. Clements registered a blood alcohol content of .161%g. Clements was processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
