The Franklin Police Department responded to 61 complaints over the past holiday weekend and made the following arrests:
8/31/2012 @ 2:17 PM, GENEVIA LEONA DAUPHINE, 27, of Easy Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested on a warrant dated May 28, 2012, charging her with Theft By Shoplifting - 3rd offense. Ms. Dauphine was processed and released on a $1500.00 bond to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
8/31/2012 @ 4:54 PM, ANTHONY T. BOURDA, 31, of East Long Street - Baldwin, LA
was arrested on a warrant issued by Probation & Parole, charging him with Parole Violation. Mr. Bourda was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
8/31/2012 @ 5:58 PM, BRIAN K. HENRY, 46, of Talbot Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested on a warrant dated August 30, 2012, charging him with Theft By Shoplifting. Mr. Henry was processed and released on a $1000.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
9/1/2012 @ 6:29 PM, ALFRED JAMAL HILLIARD, 24, of Sixth Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested on a warrant issued by the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office, charging him with Riot. Mr. Hilliard was processed and held on a $150,000.00 bond for Iberia Parish.
9/2/2012 @ 5:16 AM, CARL JOSEPH DUPAS, 48, of Park Avenue - Franklin, LA
was arrested on warrants dated August 18, 2012, charging him with False Imprisonment and Domestic Abuse Battery - 4th offense. Mr. Dupas was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
9/2/2012 @ 10:13 PM, JAMAL JEREL JOHNSON, 18, of Roys Lane - Centerville, LA
was arrested and charged with Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile. Mr. Johnson was processed and released to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
9/2/2012 @ 10:13 PM, DIJON THOMAS JAMES BELL, 18, of James Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile. Mr. Bell was processed and released to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
9/2/2012 @ 10:13 PM, EDDIE WAYNE STACKHOUSE, 17, of Baker Road - Franklin, LA
was arrested and charged with Simple Possession of Marijuana, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile and Head Lamps When Required. Mr. Stackhouse was processed and released to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
9/2/2012 @ 11:09 PM, GARY L. CHRISTENSEN, 48, of Cayce Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated - 1st offense and No Seatbelt. Mr. Christensen was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
9/2/2012 @ 11:22 PM, COURTNEY GAUTHIER, 26, of Sterling Road - Franklin, LA
was arrested on a Bench Warrant issued by 3rd Ward City Court, charging him with Failure To Appear. Mr. Gauthier was processed and held on a $282.50 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
9/3/2012 @ 12:23 PM, RON DEVON LEWIS, 31, of Manuel Lane - Jeanerette, LA
was arrested and charged with Left Rear Mirror Required and Driving Under Suspension. Mr. Lewis was also processed on a warrant issued by 16th Judicial District Court, charging him with Failure To Appear. Mr. Lewis was processed and released on a $1250.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court and a $329.50 bond to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
9/4/2012 @ 00:24 AM, MARK JONES, 36, of Iberia Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested on a warrant dated March 27, 2009, charging him with Domestic Abuse Battery. Mr. Jones was additionally charged with Domestic Abuse Battery - 2nd offense. Mr. Jones was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
JUVENILE ARRESTS:
8/31/2012, A 13 year old male was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace By Fighting and Battery on a Athletic Official. The juvenile was processed and released to a legal guardian, pending possible juvenile court proceedings.
8/31/2012, A 12 year old male was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace By Fighting. The juvenile was processed and released to a legal guardian, pending possible juvenile court proceedings.
9/1/2012, A 15 year old male was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Underage Possession of Alcohol. The juvenile was processed and released to a legal guardian, pending possible juvenile court proceedings.
9/1/2012, A 16 year old female was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace By Fighting. The juvenile was processed and released to a legal guardian, pending possible juvenile court proceedings.
9/1/2012, A 14 year old female was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace By Fighting. The juvenile was processed and released to a legal guardian, pending possible juvenile court proceedings.
9/1/2012, A 15 year old female was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace By Fighting. The juvenile was processed and released to a legal guardian, pending possible juvenile court proceedings.
9/1/2012, A 13 year old female was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace By Fighting, Disturbing The Peace By Obscene Language, 2 Counts Resisting an Officer With Force, Aggravated Battery of a Police Officer, 2 Counts Simple Escape, Obstruction of a Public Passage and Inciting to Riot. The juvenile was processed and held at a Court Ordered Juvenile Facility, pending a 72 hour hearing.
