The Franklin Police Department responded to 16 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:

8/21/2012 @ 11:21 AM, RIGOBERT FALGOUT JR., 30, of Banner Drive - Franklin, LA

was arrested on warrants charging him with 3 Counts Violation of Protective Order. Mr. Falgout was processed and released on a $2500.00 bond to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.

8/21/2012 @ 11:30 AM, CHAD ANTHONY MENDOZA, 37, of Hamm Street - Franklin, LA

was arrested on a warrant dated August 8, 2012, charging him with Simple Assault. Mr. Mendoza was processed and released on a $296.50 cash bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.

8/21/2012 @ 12:11 PM, LARRY JAMES SMITH, 18, of Weber Street - Franklin, LA

was arrested and charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine With Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana and Entering Contraband into a Penal Facility. Mr. Smith was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.

8/21/2012 @ 2:40 PM, REGINALD THOMAS, 46, of Dixie Road - Franklin, LA

while incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center was processed on a warrant issued by the Franklin Police Department, charging him with Theft Over $10,000.00. Mr. Thomas was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.

8/21/2012 @ 6:11 PM, GERALD DOMINGUE JR., 24, of Cayce Street - Franklin, LA

was arrested on a warrant issued by City Court of Jeanerette, charging him with Failure To Appear. Mr. Domingue was processed and released to the Jeanerette Police Department.

8/21/2012 @ 10:37 PM, RICHARD LEE LAJAUNIE, 44, of Second Street - Franklin, LA

was arrested and charged with Theft of a Lawnmower. Mr. Lajaunie was processed and held on a $1000.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
