The Franklin Police Department responded to 19 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
8/1/2012 at 1:58 PM, BRITTANY NICOLE GANT, 21, of Elm Street - Franklin, LA was arrested on a warrant dated July 3, 2012, charging her with Criminal Mischief. Ms. Gant was processed and released on a $500.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
8/1/2012 at 3:53 PM, SHAMAR C. KELKER, 24, of Cayce Street - Franklin, LA was arrested on warrants dated June 12, 2012, charging him with Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling and Remaining Where Forbidden. Mr. Kelker was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
8/2/2012 at 3:30 AM, PHILLIP JOHN COMEAUX, 41, of Main Street - Franklin, LA was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Battery. Mr. Comeaux was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
