Franklin Daily Arrest Report

The Franklin Police Department responded to 28 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:

7/6/2012 @ 12:45 PM, BROCK AYMOND, 19, of Mt. Carmel Road - Ville Platte, LA

was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace By Fighting. Mr. Aymond was processed and released on a $346.50 cash bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.

7/6/2012 @ 1:07 PM, JOSEPH TRAHAN, 42, of Robert Street - Franklin, LA

was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace By Fighting and Domestic Abuse Battery. Mr. Trahan was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.

7/6/2012 @ 11:36 PM, MELVIN ANTHONY SWANCY, 33, of Maryland Street - Port Allen, LA

was arrested and charged with Driving Under Suspension for Certain Prior Offenses. Mr. Swancy was also processed on a Bench Warrant issued by City Court of Port Allen, charging him with Failure To Appear on the charge of Driving Under Suspension. Mr. Swancy was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 3rd Ward City Court and a $304.00 cash bond for City Court of Port Allen.

7/7/2012 @ 12:26 PM, MELVIN PAUL, 47, of Ninth Street - Franklin, LA

was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. Mr. Paul was processed and released on a $1000.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.

7/8/2012 @ 1:35 AM, JOHN A. BOYD, 42, of Josephine Street - Franklin, LA

was arrested and charged with Violation of Protective Order. Mr. Boyd was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.

7/8/2012 @ 9:55 PM, DAVID RENALDO PHILLIPS, 32, of Collins Street - Baldwin, LA

was arrested and charged with Loud Music and Driving Under Suspension. Mr. Phillips was processed and held on a $1500.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.

7/9/2012 @ 12:11 AM, CALVIN WATSON, 25, of Morris Street - Franklin, LA

was arrested and charged with Simple Battery. Mr. Watson was processed and released on a $500.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
