The Franklin Police Department responded to 15 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
5/24/2012 @ 12:47 PM, FRED LAMAR WILLIAMS, 24, of Eighth Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested on a Bench Warrant issued by 3rd Ward City Court, charging him with Failure To Appear on the charge of Improper Display of License Plate. Mr. Williams was processed and released on a $180.00 cash fine.
5/24/2012 @ 10:04 PM, REGINALD HENRY JOHNSON, 49, of Ninth Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested on warrants issued by 3rd Ward City Court, charging him with 2 Counts Failure To Appear on traffic charges. Mr. Johnson was also processed on warrants issued by 16th Judicial District Court, charging him with 2 Counts Failure To Appear on the charges of Speeding and Issuing Worthless Checks. Mr. Johnson was processed and held on a $420.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court and a $2829.50 bond to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
5/25/2012 @ 3:30 AM, DEA'ZHONE D. BAKER, 17, of Ninth Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass. Mr. Baker was processed and released on a $500.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
5/25/2012 @ 7:15 AM, DEEDRA A. CRAIG, 34, of Sixth Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested on a warrant dated May 2, 2012, charging her with Theft Over $500.00. Ms. Craig was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
JUVENILE ARRESTS:
5/24/2012, An 11 year old male was arrested and charged with Curfew Violation. The juvenile was processed and released to a legal guardian, pending possible juvenile court proceedings.
5/24/2012, A 12 year old male was arrested and charged with Criminal Damage To Property. The juvenile was processed and released to a legal guardian, pending possible juvenile court proceedings.
