The Franklin Police Department responded to 16 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
3/6/2012 @ 11:44 AM, HERBERT ANDREW FREEMAN, 27, of Silver Street - New Iberia, LA
was arrested on a warrant dated March 2, 2012, charging him with Simple Robbery. Mr. Freeman was processed and released on a $2500.00 bond to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
3/6/2012 @ 7:04 PM, COLBY LEONARD SPAIN, 29, of Fourth Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested and charged with Simple Battery, Flight From Officer and 5 Counts Criminal Trespass. Mr. Spain was processed and held on a $4000.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
3/7/2012 @ 3:11 AM, BRANDON LOVELL THOMAS, 43, of S. Gressner Road - Houston, TX
was arrested and charged with Speeding 38/25, Driving Under Suspension, Driving While Intoxicated - 3rd offense, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test and Open Alcohol Container. Mr. Thomas was processed and held on a $150,000.00 bond to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
