The Franklin Police Department responded to 16 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:

12/9/2009 @ 10:53 AM, BELINDA MARIE PENTARD, 38, of Weber Street - Franklin, LA was arrested on a Bench Warrant issued by 3rd Ward City Court, charging him with Failure To Appear. Ms. Pentard was processed and held on a $351.50 cash fine.

12/9/2009 @ 1:39 PM, SHIRELY ANN PHILLIPS, 51, of Canal Street - Jeanerette, LA
was arrested and charged with Theft By Shoplifting. Ms. Phillips was processed and released on a $1000.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.

12/10/2009 @ 6:24 AM, WAYNE PAUL DUNCAN, 45 of Weber Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested on a Bench Warrant issued by 3rd Ward City Court, charging him with Failure To Appear. Mr. Duncan was processed and released on a $351.50 cash fine.
