FRANKLIN ARREST LOG 01/24/12

The Franklin Police Department responded to 12 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
1/23/2012 @ 10:10 AM, ROBIN D. VERCHER, 52, of Franklin, LA; was arrested and charged with Theft of Goods. Mr. Vercher was processed and held on a $1000.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
1/23/2012 @ 7:32 PM, TYRONE WILLIAMS, 66, of Antigo Ally - Franklin, LA; was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated - 1st offense and Open Alcohol Container. Mr. Williams was also processed on a warrant issued by 16th Judicial District Court, charging him with Failure To Appear on the charge of Issuing Worthless Checks. Mr. Williams was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 3rd Ward City Court and a $5000.00 bond to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
1/23/2012 @ 11:20 PM, NORMAN JAMES PAUL, 53, of Hospital Avenue - Franklin, LA; was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Battery. Mr. Paul was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
1/24/2012 @ 4:04 AM, TERRANCE DEV-VAUGHN KEY SR., 36, of Wattigny Street - Jeanerette, LA; was arrested on a warrant issued by the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office, charging him with Failure To Appear. Mr. Key was processed and held for the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office.
