Four arrested in home invasion burlary

Four Arrested in November 16th Home Invasion

On November 16, 2009, a home invasion occurred in the 1300 block of Jefferson Street. Suspects entered the residence by force and robbed the victim at gunpoint. Detectives investigating the incident were able to develop 4 suspects during the course of the investigation. On November 24, 2009, with the assistance of the Lafayette Parish Sheriffs SWAT Team and the Lafayette Police Department's SWAT Team, all four suspects were taken into custody without incident. Matthew Robair (19) and Michael Robair (22) were arrested and charged with Aggravated Burglary and Possession of a Stolen Firearm. Seth Champagne (18) was arrested and charged with Aggravated Burglary and Erica Smith (23) was charged with Accessory After the Fact to Aggravated Burglary. The case remains under investigation.
