Former St. Mary Parish Councilman Harold Clausen Dies

A former St. Mary Parish businessman and police juror has died. Harold Clausen, Sr., was the co-owner and operator of Clausen General Merchandise in Verdunville. He also served on the St. Mary Parish Police Jury from 1976 until 1984 and on the St. Mary Parish Council from 1988 until 1992. Visitation will be held in Friday at Ibert's Mortuary from 6 P. M. until 8 P. M. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 A. M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville. Clausen was 74-years-old.
