Former Parish President pardon denied

Former Iberia Parish President Will Langlinais appeared in front of a state pardon board asking for clemency. Langlinais says the board denied a pardon.
Langlinais admitted to brokering parish contracts without the council's knowledge and coercing his employees to participate in a golf tournament to benefit his re-election campaign among other findings in 2007. He served a suspended sentence which ended in January 2010.
Langlinais was also ordered to pay $101,000 to Iberia Parish.
