A former manager of the Senator Circle housing complex in east Houma has filed a suit against the Houma-Terrebonne Housing Authority claiming he was unjustifiably fired in October.
Troy Johnson is accusing Housing Authority Director Wayne Thibodeaux of firing him for spite after Johnson accused him of sexually harassing a Housing Authority employee.
The newspaper reports Thibodeaux refused a request for comment.
Tyrikia Porter, former public housing manager, told Johnson that Thibodeaux was making unwanted sexual advances to her and "would not stop."
Johnson claims Thibodeaux started harassing him with accusations that he was in violation of Housing Authority policies, and Johnson was eventually fired.
Johnson's attorney says Johnson was clearly fired by Thibodeaux in an act of retaliation.
