ALEXANDRIA, La (AP) - A former corrections officer at the federal penitentiary in Pollock has pleaded guilty to bribery and providing prison contraband.
Twenty-six-year-old Derrick Stevenson of Moreauville entered his plea on Wednesday.
According to testimony at the hearing, Stevenson admitted providing tobacco to a prison inmate for $1,000.
Stevenson faces a maximum of 15 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
Sentencing is scheduled for June 23.
