As one could expect this time of year there are no drastic changes for the forecast as we start to wrap up the work week and move into the weekend.
Scattered showers will be the only real concern once again for your Friday afternoon and evening and development will focus along the sea breeze.
The past few days reference has been made to a ridge building out west, expect this high pressure to start to expand eastward which will help limit rain our rain chances for the weekend.
Unfortunately we won't see much of a dip in atmospheric moisture so rain chances won't be eliminated entirely but will hover around 20 percent.
The ridge will allow us to heat up as well the next few days, so look for the highs to reach the lower 90s with heat indices pushing closer to the triple digits.
Don't expect much change in the forecast for the first half of next week, but as the ridge starts to break down it will open up the door for showers.
In fact next week looks very unsettled with a possible front swinging through by mid week, so those details will be watched as they become available.
