Flooding in Parts of Louisiana

A flash flood warning remains in effect until 2:00 pm CDT for northeastern St. Landry, northeastern Evangeline, Avoyelles and East Central Rapides Parishes.
St. Landry Parish flooding has been reported in Morrow along Fisher Road, Bolden Road in Lebeau, Jims Camp Road in Bayou Jacks and Crooked Road in Swords.
In Avoyelles Parish, the Hessmer and Mansura areas have been hit the hardest. Parish officials are asking motorists to stay off the roadways unless absolutely necessary. KATC witnessed flooding along Leglise Street, LA114 and St. John Street.
