Five Arrested in Underage Drinking Sting

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office made five arrests for underage drinking yesterday during a sting operation.

Last evening, deputies say several individuals were arrested for underage drinking at a local bar. Sheriff Ackal had narcotics agents and his Impact unit investigate Jersey's Sports bar after the Sheriff's Office received complaints of alcohol being sold to persons under the age of 21 at the establishment. After the investigation was complete, a total of 5 arrests were made. The 5 arrested are as follows:

Danielle Meyers (Age 18) 6121 Duchamp Road, Broussard / Charged for, without possession of city bar card

Tyler Broussard (Age 18) 1906 Weeks Island Road, New Iberia / Charged for, without possession of city bar card

Alray Perez Jr. (Age 21) 1808 Sable, New Iberia / Charged with purchasing of alcohol on behalf of a minor

Stacia Bourque (Age 19) 2510 Segura Road, New Iberia / Charged with possession of alcohol under the age of 21

Estin Taylor (Age 18) 238 Hortense Street, New Iberia / Charged with possession of alcohol under the age of 21

All were released on summons.
