Fishermen find woman's body in Rapides Parish lake

ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) A woman's body has been found floating in Kincaid Lake, west of Alexandria.

Rapides Parish sheriff's deputies said two fishermen close to the dock of the Kincaid boat ramp spotted the body shortly after noon Tuesday.

The victim was described as a white female in her early 20s. Authorities say there were no obvious signs of trauma on the body.

The death remains under investigation.
