A fire this morning claimed the lives of two people at a home on LA 358 in St. Landry Parish. Deputy Chief Brant Thompson with the Louisiana State Fire Marshal's office says three of the five people in the house were able to escape. The fire broke out this morning and state fire marshal investigators are on the scene investigating the cause. "We're still working to positively identify the victims," Thompson said.
