Fire in Broussard, Body Found

The Lafayette's Sheriff's Department says a body has been found inside The Benchmark Lounge in Broussard, after a fire broke out this morning. The identity and cause of death of this person is unknown at this time. Fire crews responded to the fire on Tubing road Saturday morning. The cause of the fire is not known. We will update with more details as they become available. Universal Starters and Alternators also has minor damage.
