No one was injured after a fire broke out at a McDonald's in Lafayette.
It happened just after 6:00 this evening at the McDonald's on University Avenue. Firefighters say one of the fryers was to blame. The fire was quickly contained by the buildings suppression system. Fire inspectors have since closed the restaurant until the system is restored. The University Ave. location will likely reopen sometime tomorrow.
