Mostly sunny skies will cheer up the end of what has been a cold & dreary week for Acadiana...unfortunately clouds will be back for the weekend, but temperatures will finally be closer to normal.
After a chilly start look for temperatures to climb into the low-mid 60s under mostly sunny skies for our Friday afternoon.
A return flow from the Gulf of Mexico courtesy of easterly to southeasterly winds tonight, and southerly winds this weekend will moderate our temperatures and usher clouds back into the region.
A weakening disturbance will advance eastward from Texas Saturday night into Sunday possibly bringing scattered showers to the area.
Temperatures this weekend will be in the upper upper 60s to near 70 while night time lows moderate into the 40s and 50s.
The weather pattern early next week looks unsettled with the chance of showers continuing through Tuesday. Temperatures should be in the upper 60s to lower 70s through Tuesday.
Cooler/colder conditions with at least several days of mostly sunny & dry weather is expected late Wednesday through Friday.
