Final Roll Call: March for the Fallen 2013

On April 28, 2013 Crowley native, SFC Kironi A. Dugar, will march 28 miles to recognize fallen soldiers from Acadia Parish.

Dugar, who is stationed in Germany, has been in the army for 19 years and and is currently deployed in Kuwait.

"I want to celebrate the lives of these servicemen who paid the ultimate price for their country," said Dugar.

On Sunday, Dugar and 12 of her comrades will recognize the price each of the seven fallen soldiers from Acadia Parish and their families paid, during the fight in the War on Terror.

The march is called "Final Roll Call: March for the Fallen 2013."

Corporal Marcus Cain, Sept. 14, 2006

Staff Sergeant Michael Gabel, Dec. 12, 2007

Private First Class Nicholas J. Clayton, Oct. 1, 2009

Corporal Matthew Richard, June 9, 2011

Staff Sergeant Nicholas Bellard, June 13, 2011

There will be a memorial service held in honor of these Soldiers on April 28, 2013 at 11:00 am , Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Crowley, 519 W. 3RD Street.

Dugar said her ultimate goal is to have a Fallen Soldiers of Acadia Parish Day.
