If you just can't get enough of your favorite musicians, we've learned of an after-hours place to get an encore performance. It's sort of a hidden treasure of Festival, but also a tradition for many years.

The Comfort Inn on Evangeline Thruway is the official Hotel for Festival International. It's where all the musicians stay over the weekend. So, when things wrap up downtown, they head back to the hotel but not always to rest.

"Normally after the festival we have all the musicians come by, being the host hotel, they all hang out at our pool area or lounge and they musicians have a jam session." Comfort Inn General Manager Derrick Hebert said."
"They just out here enjoying and doing what they do best. They're so proud of what they do and excited about it, so come out here and join us."

The public is invited to jam with the musicians. Comfort Inn has a public bar and lounge. It's a chance for fans to have a more intimate performance, without mics and speakers or huge crowds.

Hebert says the musicians start playing around 10:30pm, or as soon as they get back in from Festival and they don't wrap up until about 2am.
