AOC Community Media will premiere its footage of Festival International 2012 main-stage performances during Fest Week July 1-7 on AOC 1 (Cox channel 15 or LUS channel 3). AOC will air three episodes each day during prime-time hours, culminating in an all-day Festival re-cap on Saturday, July 7.
During the five-day festival in April 2012, which celebrates the French cultural heritage of southern Louisiana, AOC captured nearly 20 hours of live performances in high-definition.
"Each year, we make it a priority to give Acadiana residents the opportunity to relive their Festival experience or experience what they may have missed on the main stage," said Ed Bowie, executive director of AOC. "To us, Fest Week represents Festival lovers coming together once again to experience the magic of Festival International."

AOC will continue to re-air its footage of the festival performances throughout the year on Cox channels 15 and 16 and LUS channels 3 and 4. To view AOC's full schedule, visit www.aocinc.org.
From the beginning of the 25-year-old festival, AOC has recorded main-stage performances and then aired them on its two channels which are cablecast in the Acadiana area on Cox Communications and LUS Fiber.
An all-volunteer crew used high-definition cameras to capture video from the main stage. Video was then recorded digitally and encoded for live cablecast.
