The weather pattern across Acadiana this weekend will be more representative of the time of year as temperatures and humidity slowly edge to more summer-like values.
Look for late night and early morning cloudiness to yield to partly sunny skies during the afternoons this weekend. Highs will gradually creep toward the upper 80s this weekend with more of the same into next week.
Although Lafayette Acadiana has yet to see 90 degree readings it is likely that by mid-next week we will be getting very close.
Rain chances look very slight through mid-next week, in the 10% range. There may be a slightly better chance of a pop-up shower toward the end of next week but overall the pattern looks to stay mostly on the dry side, other than the humidity!
Elsewhere, the weather pattern will be quite active across the Plains States into the Midwest with the daily threat of severe weather likely through early next week.
