Only three days old, baby Quinzlee Harris is leaving the hospital just in time for Father's Day. Qunisica Harris felt bad that she wasn't able to go and get her husband Weston something to celebrate the holiday.
"Today I told him "I'm in the hospital I can't get you a Father's Day gift. He said "the best gift you could have given me is her".
Baby Qunzleigh is dad Weston's first-born, and he's more than up for the challenge of fatherhood.
"I was a hard worker, but looking at her, I know it's going to be even harder. I really have to do what I have to do as dad, as a father, and as a provider to make sure she has everything she wants."
While on dad celebrated his first Father's Day, across town Danny Jackson is celebrating Father's Day at Zea's. Jackson is no stranger to the holiday, and imparted some words of wisdom and advice he's picked up along the way.
"As a parent I think the best advice I would give is to make your family number 1. You only get one opportunity at raising your kids and setting a home/life environment, so make it the best you can and dedicate whatever time you think is necessary and needed to accomplish that goal."
And as the veteran father enjoys a dinner with his family, Harris let all the new and expectant fathers out there what it's like to celebrate the first Father's Day.
"You're closer now having a baby. There's that bond between momma, and daddy, and having a baby. You know it brings you a little closer. It makes everything seem right...a complete family."
