Father and son accused of running drug business

GALVEZ, La. (AP) - Ascension Parish authorities have arrested a father and son believed to be distributing marijuana from their Galvez home.
Chief Deputy Tony Bacala says that 45-year-old Kevin Ficklin and 20-year-old Koby Ficklin were arrested following a search of their home.
Bacala said detectives executed a search warrant on the Ficklins' home last week, where they seized marijuana packaged for resale and drug paraphernalia.
Both Ficklins were booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
It was unclear whether the father and son have attorneys.
