Father accused of shooting son to death

A father in Vermilion Parish is accused of shooting and killing his son last night in Cow Island. Charles Larry Harrington, 67, is charged with manslaughter in 40-year-old Macade Jude Harrington's death. According to Sheriff Mike Couvillon, Macade went to his father's house a 15837 Dotsay Rd. around 7:20 Wednesday night and a fight led to the shooting. Bond has not yet been set. Charles is in the Vermilion Parish Correctional Center.
