Fatal Shooting in Youngsville

Just after 11:30 last night at a residence in Cedar Hill Circle a woman and her live in boyfriend got into a heated exchange which led to a fight between the two. According to Youngsville police the woman ultimately grabbed a handgun and shot the man. Emergency officials arrived on the scene, but the man died on the way to the hospital. Youngsville police department is investigating the shooting. We'll have more details as they become available.
