Fatal motorcycle ax in St. Landry

Louisiana State Police Troop I are investigating a fatal motorcycle wreck that happened in St. Landry Parish last night.
On LA-104, near Minny Road, around 5:50 p.m., 32 year old Chadwick Soileau of Opelousas was driving a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle west. Soileau ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Soileau was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. Landry Parish Coroner. Routine toxicology samples were obtained and have been submitted to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis. It is still unknown what caused Soileau to crash. The crash remains under investigation.
