Fatal crash in Evangeline Parish leaves a Mamou man dead

A single vehicle crash in Evangeline Parish leaves a Mamou man dead.
It happened just after 12 p.m. this afternoon on LA 3277 in Evangeline Parish. Troopers say the vehicle traveling south bound on LA 3277 over steered on a curve, traveling off road, striking a crawfish pond levee. That's when the vehicle then rolled over ejecting the driver who was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver, identified as Garrett C. Deshotels of Mamou, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Evangeline Coroner. The crash remains under investigation.
