Fatal Car Crash

A 21-year-old man was killed after crashing into a tour bus in Lafayette.
The accident happened at 2:15 Saturday morning at the intersection of North University Avenue and I-10.
Lafayette police say a tour bus was turning left onto I-10 when a car traveling north on University crashed into the side of the bus. The 21 year old driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, a passenger in his vehicle was transported with critical injuries.
