Family receives Thanksgiving Basket from National Hook-up of Black Women

Members of the Lafayette Chapter of National Hook-up of Black Women visited two residents in the Moss Street Housing Development to distribute Thanksgiving Basket filled with many Thanksgiving favorites.

The first picture is of Desiree Hardy and her 3 girls and 1 grandchild. The second is of Twanna Livings Not pictured along with four children. Members of National Hook -u p of Black women pictured are Danielle Antoine, Alanda Plumbar, Charelle Joseph and Ladavia Savoie. The National Hook-Up of Black Women, Inc. (NHBW, Inc.) is a national, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization formally established in 1974, locally charted in Lafayette, LA in 2008. Our national agenda dedicates itself to improving the lives of women and their families through support of the arts, culture, health, education, and human service initiatives.
