Unsettled weather will become settled to a more fall-like scenario this week as a cool front crosses Acadiana Tuesday.

Mostly cloudy skies, with a few intervals of sun and slight rain chances will remain for our Tuesday, but drier, cool conditions will advance into Acadiana Tuesday night.

Sunny and plesant weather is expected Wednesday through Friday with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s while overnight lows dip into the mid-upper 50s.

Warmer temperatures try to return for next weekend but yet another cool front should arrive in the area by Sunday.

Outside of a meandering Tropical Storm Nadine in the far Eastern Atlantic, the tropics remain very quiet given the time of year.
