Acadiana will enjoy some comfortable early fall weather behind the wet weather system that plagued the area this weekend.
Lingering clouds will gradually erode through Tuesday with temperatures dropping into the upper 50s in most areas by morning.
Fair to partly cloudy skies with very comfortable humidity should dominate across the region for Tuesday.
After another cool one Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, look for sunny skies and warming temperatures into the mid-80s for Wednesday afternoon.
Very warm conditions will return for Thursday and Friday with highs back into the upper 80s.
Another cool front is expected to arrive this weekend but the system looks moisture-starved so chance of rain will remain relatively low.
Behind the next front temperatures should cool into the mid-50s by Sunday morning.
