Lafayette Schools of Choice are recruiting students and those potential students got a first hand look at the programs at the annual open enrollment recruitment showcase. It was held today at the Cajun Dome Convention Center. The event offered an opportunity for parents, students, and the community to explore which programs, academies, and career education opportunities are available through schools of choice.
It's called Fall Frenzy complete with performances, student activities and stem programs in arts, technology, and math. Enrollment for the program is open to all Pre-K through 12th grade students. Students were able to be hands on with activities they were interested in and take their projects home.
"I think the kids are having such a great time. We've been getting so much positive feedback on how much fun they're having and all the great things they get to do at their schools," said Marketing & Recruitment Coordinator Randall Domingue.
