The attorney for a man accused of killing a pizza delivery man has filed a motion to move his client's trial out of Lafayette Parish.
According to court filings, Aaron Richard's attorney says Richards cannot receive a fair trial in Lafayette Parish because of media coverage of his case. The motion also sites comments from local media Facebook pages as evidence Richards will not receive a fair trail.
Richards is accused of stabbing Tim Falgout in 2010. He is scheduled to go to trial next July.
