A convicted sex offender has been arrested in Calcasieu Parish. 31-year-old Andrew Moss, Jr. was charged with failure to register as a sex offender 2nd offense. Deputies say he moved without notifying the proper authorities within three days, as required by law for all registered sex offenders.
Moss, who was previously convicted of failure to register as a sex offender in Calcasieu Parish in 2007 after he moved without notifying the proper authorities, was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
Moss was convicted of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile in Calcasieu Parish in November 2004.
Judge Ron Ware set his bond at $12,000.
