Extra police officers are on the campus of Breaux Bridge High School today as a precaution after school officials noticed possible threatening messages on Facebook. St. Martin Parish Schools Superintendent Richard Lavergne says friends of the late Darnesha Harris posted messages on the social media site that led them to call for increased police presence at the school. Harris was killed Sunday night in a police-involved shooting. Lavergne says no incidents have happened on campus.
