Two Lafayette residents are in jail after police say an argument between former lovers resulted in a shooting. The incident took place Thursday morning in the 200 block of LaSalle Street. Investigators say 32-year-old Karen Bourque started the spat after she drove through the block and saw her ex standing outside. After the argument became heated, Bourque's passenger, 67-year-old Robert Anderson, pulled a gun and threatened the victim before firing two shots. The victim was not injured. Anderson is charged with attempted second-degree murder. Bourque is charged with being an accessory after the fact to attempted second-degree murder.
