LIVINGSTON, La. (AP) - Investigators have brought new counts of indecent behavior with juvenile girls against a former Holden fire chief arrested and booked Monday with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile girl.
Lori Steele, a spokeswoman for the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, tells The Advocate one of the latest counts against 46-year-old Franklin Dale Church involves a girl who was 13 at the time of the alleged 2009 incident.
Church was booked Thursday with indecent behavior with the then-13-year-old girl and was booked on two additional indecent-behavior counts in connection with alleged incidents involving a 14-year-old.
Steele said authorities had booked Church Monday with molesting the same 14-year-old girl.
It was not immediately known whether Church has an attorney.
