A Eunice woman is accused of operating a meth lab after surveillance by law enforcement agents led to her arrest.
On August 29, 2013, St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office narcotic enforcement team conducted several hours of surveillance on Brandy Devillier of Eunice. The team was able to gather enough evidence to obtain a search warrant, according to Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
Narcotic agents located two active clandestine meth labs inside the residence and seized 5 grams of methamphetamines, bath salt, lithium, and other drug paraphernalia used to make the methamphetamines, said Guidroz.
Devillier was charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule II drugs, possession of schedule I CDS, possession of a legend drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and 2 counts of creation or operation of a clandestine laboratory for unlawful manufacture of a controlled dangerous substance.
She is being held at the St. Landry Parish Jail awaiting her court appearance.
