Eunice Shooting Suspect Arrested

St. Landry Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested the man accused of shooting at a group of women in Eunice. Jhavoca Charlot was taken into custody Monday for the May 27 incident. Charlot is accused of shooting at a car in which the women were riding. One of the women inside was struck by a bullet. Charlot is charged with attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property, and illegal use of weapons.
