Eunice Police Make Arrest For Counterfeit Bills

Eunice Police Department has arrested a subject for trying to pass six, twenty dollar counterfeit bills at a Eunice store.

Officers with the Eunice Police Department received the call at 6:29 pm that a subject was in the store wanting the exchange the counterfeit money for a One hundred dollar bill.
The cashier checked the bills and found them to be fake and contacted the
Police.

Arrested was Michael Anthony Jacobs, 18, of 503 Fuselier St Apt A Eunice, La.

The incident is still under investigation.
