Eunice police looking for man in horse stabbing

Eunice Police are looking for the person responsible for stabbing a horse to death on Christmas Eve. According to Deputy Chief Varden Guillory, a witness notified police that a man stabbed the horse after it tripped over the railroad tracks on North MLK Drive.

The tracks were shut down while the city's animal warden used a front end loader and back hoe to remove the horse off the tracks. Anyone who has information on the stabbing should call Eunice Police at 337-457-2626.
