Eunice Police Department Felony Theft Charges

Eunice Police Department has arrested 4 males for felony theft charges stemming from a two month investigation.

During the months of December 2009 and January 2010, Eunice Police Dept received several reports from Wal-Mart of Eunice, of theft, in which, several items of electronic equipment and Magnalite pots where stolen. Surveillance video showed a group of 6-7 individuals entering the store and loading the merchandise in a shopping buggy. The suspects then pushed the buggy out of the fire door near the garden center and put the items in a waiting vehicle. Information was received about one of the suspects and that the suspects were from Breaux Bridge, La.

Breaux Bridge Police Dept assisted in identifying, 4 of the suspects. Warrants were obtained and the four suspects were arrested on 1-21-10 in Breaux Bridge, La.

All four of the suspects were charged with felony theft and more charges are pending.

Several items were recovered and the four suspects are also being held for theft investigations at Wal-Mart stores in Crowley and Jennings and other locations

Darnell Travon Thibodeaux, 26, 299 Carver St Breaux Bridge

Tyson Jenard Phillips, 21, 299 Carver St Breaux Bridge
